Extensions and alterations to a Victorian semi-detached property in the New Town Conservation Area, Cambridge
MOOi were approached by the owners of this property to resolve layout problems at ground floor, provide two additional bedrooms and renovate throughout.
The solution, a linking dining room extension to provide a breadth of space alongside a galley kitchen, maintaining and maximising the existing rear garden. A contemporary oriel window clad in natural Zinc, lined in plywood, adds a quirky, functional additional seating area.
At loft level two additional bedrooms were provided, with a shower room, within a new rear facing dormer.
